Kenneth Ma expressed he has gained deep understanding of those in the medical field after shooting The Hippocratic Crush. Doctors/nurses, aside from not having any time due to the nature of their work, but they are also very stressed when it comes to rescuing people's lives. He claims he's not good in school, but he just hope to send a positive message through this series and impact more of the younger generation to become doctors. In the series, his role 'Cheung Yat Kin' was responsible for a car accident that resulted in his brother's paralzyed legs. Yat Kin regretted it all along. Since youth Yat Kin wanted to be a doctor and earn enough money to support his brother to study abroad. He hopes for medical advances and one day his brother will be able to walk again. Kenneth expresses he really liked THC's script. It's not just above love and cases. He believe Yat Kin may appear strong on the outside, but on the inside he's flawed. He's a doctor, not God. When he encounter troubles, he'll fall down to rock bottom in life and eventually Yue Jai (Tavia) helps him get back up. Kenneth said this series is very realistic, and the filming was very serious.
Kenneth also greatly praises that Tavia is fantastic, she is professional and serious: "She has a deep understanding of the script. When we were filming, all of the suggestions she gave were useful. The only thing that displease me is tha Ah Yi (Tavia) just has rumors with Him Law..." He continues: "Ah Yi doesn't have rumors with me... rumors is the way to gain more money earning opportunities as a couple team, there's no benefit for me! In order to move from small home to a bigger one, I have to work hard and earn more.!"
Yesterday Tavia Yeung was on Eileen Cha's CRHK radio interview, when speaking of The Hippocratic Crush, Tavia urges Kenneth to speed it up on pursuing 'Yue Jai' (her role). Kenneth said he didn't mind having rumors with her? Tavia said: "He says that to every girl. I don't get his mentality." She also agreed that Kenneth is a 'Best Deal': "I'm the #1 Best Deal and Kenneth is #2, Him Law is just catching up, he needs to add oil."
In the series, Tavia takes initiative and confesses her love for Kenneth, but in reality because she's too busy working, she can't take initiative to express any love. However, she does encourage girls to take initiative and really fight for their happiness.
